December 30th - We are back in North Carolina, but we spent the last week in Ohio for a very rare Columbus White Christmas.

Johnny experienced his very first time in the snow and loved it - although we had a 20 minute blow drying session every time he came in.

We drove to Ohio sans the rig and were able to travel without interacting with anyone. The truck holds enough fuel to make the entire 7 hour trip without filling up.

And I made grain bowls, so we didn‘t have to stop for lunch. Hello roasted butternut squash, farro, arugula, chicken, and pomegranates - and hot guy driving.

So thankful that I was able to spend Christmas with my Dad. Johnny loves his Pap, and I love my Dad's Ho Ho Ho socks. ☺️

These gorgeous flowers arrived the day after we did from my dear friend Kieran. She bought me a subscription from Bouqs for my birthday this summer, so I get a bouquet every other month. The flowers are super high quality - the roses actually open up to their fullest, unlike a lot of times from other florists where they die in bud stage. Such a great gift idea - thanks Boogie. 😘
