For Thanksgiving week we remained at our nephew’s house. Though Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday I am not a big fan of the meal, but the turkey this year was the most delicious turkey I have ever had. They prepared it in a sous vide and then pan fried to finish it.

Their neighbors brought over dessert and coincidentally they brought a plate of Buckeyes!! Not one Ohio State fan in the bunch - just saw the recipe online. O H!!

Allie really helped Clay and Suzanne make so much of the meal. My only contribution this year, beside the mashed potatoes, was helping to teach Allie how to use the big knives. Keep the tip on the board!

We greatly enjoyed our last few weeks at Troubadour. A lot of you are asking if we are considering this as our spot to build. Our answer to that - no need, we already have a place...Clay and Suzanne's! 😜 What an amazing community though.

And we are still chasing fall!
